Heard this advertised on CLZ and it's pretty cool. Basically you can buy gift certificates for select local merchants for 50% off:

http://www.halfpriceonlineoutlet.com/intro.php

Nothing on there really strikes my fancy, but it looks like on January 4th, they'll be adding Ricettas and the Gelato Fiasco in Brunswick to their list.

Same idea as the Maine Dollar Saver but most aren't discounted as steeply. Again, nothing mindblowing to me here-- though I did keep meaning to get some gift certificates to Westport Bowling Lanes, as hitting the lanes with Max is about as close as the hubby and I are getting to dates lately. Turns out Max can't get enough of the candlepins.

In the Retail section of this site, they're selling 30% off gift certificates good at any store at the Tontine Mall in Brunswick (Okay, I have a bit of a Brunswick Bone) which includes the ever-saucy Eveningstar Cinema.

Whole Budget

So I totally blew my wad at Whole Foods yesterday~ spent way too much of the old grocery budget at one time. But, a few deals that I thought were worth mentioning. If you don't know about Whole Foods' coupon book, "The Whole Deal," definitely check it out. They can usually be found right inside the front door and also at registers. They usually come out once every month or two and can sometimes, depending on your cashier, be "stacked" with manufacturer coupons for excellent deals. A few such deals:

Green and Black Organic chocolate bars on sale for 2 for $5

combine $1/off from Oct/Nov. Whole Deal with this sweet little morsel:

and you have $.50 organic chocolate bars.

Good stuff!

Like soup? Wolfgang Puck organic soups are on sale for $2. The December Whole Deal has $1/off coupons, making these ring in at $1.

Bacon Bitch

Those (two) of you who follow my other blog know about my battle with bacon. Well, for those of you who are rooting for the vegetarian bacon, here's another nice little Target deal for you.
Go here: http://coupons.target.com/mcp/pd.cfm?encp=bw3Edh8NsU3vzmfu%2BCqxk1gE5kAdfbx6dC45DH8m6FuvNQDwYVl3xOH31DkRj79yzb%2BSNmiA400O%0D%0ABmnS5K0e6cYTtzrdUNC2#
(if this doesn't work, go to target.com, follow their link to grocery coupons and there's a $2 off 2 Morningstar Farms coupon)

Combine it with this little lady:

for some cheap veggie bacon (or whatever veggie delight your heart desires).

Yea for Tar-jay

So I wasn't going to start this whole blog thing until I got it all prettied up and whatnot, but I decided that may never happen and I wanted to share a nice deal with you at Target. With all the post-holiday sales stuff there, they've marked down their holiday scented Method hand soap to $2.08. Go here http://offers.e-centives.com/registration/col.cfm?s=bXwCT9ZSXEfW18R051rsJC0wQhLYFgMa%252BIDaMLci7Ck0REoZ3g8WGYP%252Boy%252FAIZggKUFURZtWExid%250D%250A3d8vs1eXISs3Sx%252FZEh13g4zHKbNSnSNGYBFPhVZHXt7LzH7sCohxa2AVF9o%253D to get $2 off coupons, making this yummy soap $.08 plus tax. You should be able to print off 2 coupons per computer. My favorite is the peppermint vanilla, and it can be found at the S. Portland Target down by the personal care products.

Like free batteries? Go here Rayovac Bonus and enter in code 74016761 for $1 off batteries. They still have some in the dollar section (right by the entrance on the right) at the SoPo Target.

Alright. That's it for now. I've got my mom jeans on and I'm ready to rock.
